Workout Wednesday-Hero WOD

Made it to two 6 am CrossFit classes this week! This morning’s WOD was a hero WOD for USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on Feburary, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED. CrossFit does a very nice job of honoring our fallen and so we do a workout in their remembrance. This was definitely a workout!

Five rounds for time of:
65 pound Deadlift, 12 reps
65 pound Hang power clean, 9 reps
65 pound Push jerk, 6 reps

Total time: 17:54

My hand was already sore before the workout so this WOD really made me push through things.

Tomorrow, I’m running before work and then playing 9 holes of golf with some coworkers.

No swimming yet but my desire to swim is coming back….guess we’ll see!
